Sparkle Gradient

I’ve always been one to enjoy glitter. I don’t know if it’s coated in my feminine DNA or if it’s just because I like shiny stuff, but glittery nail polish is definitely a must in my life. In this design I chose a darker color and a snowy-like glitter color.

I first laid one coat of my base color down. Then, starting from the top of the nail (opposite of cuticle), I began sweeping the glitter downward. Be sure to not have too much of the glitter on the brush as you don’t want to glob it on quite yet. Once you get a good gradient type coat of the glitter, then you can put big ole’ globs on the tips of your nails to make a solid coat at the top of your layer (almost as if your were using it to french tip). After you get the desired amount of glitter on in the way that makes you happy, finish off with a top coat! This is probably the easiest design I have done. No art pen or tape required! Happy polishing!
